St. Mark’s             Preschool

Text Box: Medications and Allergies
Peanut products will be restricted in classes that have a child with a peanut allergy.
Parents will notify the school about medications or allergies at the time of application. A meeting with the director may be required.
All children with food allergies will bring their own snack each day. Parents may leave special snacks to be used if the class is having something special. Ex: party days or birthdays. No other food will be served to these children by the staff.
Lunch Bunch is not peanut free. If your child has severe food allergies, it will be at the discretion of the director whether your child may participate.
EpiPen is the only medication trained staff will administer. The preschool will require that you have on file the steps for us to take to contact you in case of emergency.
Text Box: Health
Please do not send children to school if they show signs of illness. Give children 24 hours without symptoms before sending them back to school.

The staff conducts a health screening to identify ill children when they arrive each day.

All children must have a form filed in the office signed by a physician stating that they have met state immunization requirements.
Text Box: Attendance
Attendance is not compulsory. This should be a happy time for your child. The school reserves the right to ask a parent to withdraw a child if the child is unhappy, is not ready for the preschool experience, or is making it impossible to maintain a happy atmosphere for other children enrolled.

Text Box: First Aid
A staff member who has been trained in first aid is always on hand at the school.
Text Box: Dress
Simple, comfortable play clothes, washable and easy to manage for the child are preferred.
For safety reasons on our playground, we ask that children wear rubber-soled shoes and no baseball hats. Also please be aware that strings in hoods of jackets are extremely dangerous. You might want to consider removing them and purchasing a separate warm hat for cold days. It is important that all jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, and any clothing that may be taken off be clearly marked with the child’s name.

Text Box: Parent Visits
We welcome parents to come at any time. For safety reasons during school hours our doors remain locked. Please push the button and we will gladly let you in.
Text Box: Tuition
Monthly tuition is due on the 20th of the month for the following month. If not received by the 1st of the month, a $20 late fee will be charged. We require a month’s notice when a child is withdrawn. If a month’s notice is not given, you are responsible for paying that month’s tuition.

Refund or credit is not given for time missed since our budget is based on the monthly tuition of the total class.

Tuition assistance is available based on need as determined by the Preschool Board. Please contact the Preschool Office if you have a need to apply for tuition assistance.
